CueUp Terms of Service

These terms govern access to the hosted CueUp service. By creating an account or using CueUp, you agree to these terms.

Service and accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and be authorized to act for any organization you create. You are responsible for users, events, and guest-facing content in your workspace.

Subscriptions

Solo service is billed at $10 per month. Organization service is billed at $10 per month plus $5 per licensed user. Charges, renewal dates, taxes, cancellations, and payment-method changes are shown in Stripe Checkout or the billing portal. Access may be restricted when a subscription is not active. Cancellation takes effect according to the billing terms shown before confirmation.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse CueUp, probe or bypass security or subscription controls, scrape the catalog, interfere with other tenants, upload unlawful content, or use the service to violate another person’s rights. Guest request tools must not be used for harassment or spam.

Intellectual property

CueUp and its server software, branding, design, and curated catalog data remain the property of the CueUp operator and its licensors. Your subscription grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the hosted service; it does not transfer source code or ownership.

Song information and explicit ratings

Clean and explicit indicators are automated decision-support signals, not a guarantee. CueUp derives them from third-party metadata and by scanning third-party lyric transcriptions, which are routinely incomplete, censored, mismatched to the recording actually played, or wrong. A track may therefore be shown as clean when it contains explicit content, or shown as explicit when it does not, and any word list or count may undercount, overcount, or miss terms entirely. Remixes, live versions, edits, and re-releases sharing a title may differ from whatever version was scanned.

You are responsible for reviewing what you play. To the extent permitted by law, CueUp does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of a clean or explicit indicator, word breakdown, or count, and is not liable for any loss, claim, complaint, penalty, or damage arising from a song being classified incorrectly or from reliance on these indicators — including at events with minors or other audience restrictions. Where CueUp offers a way to report a suspected misclassification, reports are reviewed on a best-effort basis and no correction, outcome, or timeframe is guaranteed.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, CueUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Any aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the preceding twelve months.

Termination and changes

You may stop using CueUp and cancel through billing tools. CueUp may suspend access for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, or material breach. Material changes to these terms will be communicated through the service or account email.
